Health Co. Seeks To Decertify Injured Wal-Mart Workers

Law360, New York (September 02, 2011, 7:21 PM ET) -- Concentra Health Services Inc. asked a Colorado judge on Thursday to decertify a class of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. employees who allege the companies conspired with insurers to manipulate medical treatment for injured workers, saying the plaintiffs failed to show they received a uniform level of care.

The Texas-based health care provider's motion comes more than a year after Wal-Mart failed to successfully appeal U.S. District Judge Robert E. Blackburn's order certifying the class, which was issued in April 2010.
