Law360, New York (September 06, 2011, 5:24 PM ET) -- U.S. military supplier Shield Technologies Corp. sued two former managers Tuesday in Illinois, claiming they improperly disclosed trade secrets to key rival Transhield Inc. in violation of employment contracts.
Shield Technologies accused its former general manager Thomas W. Nelson and its former marketing manager Jeffrey D. Vold of improperly advising Transhield on selling protective equipment covers to the U.S. Department of Defense — Shield Technologies' largest and most important client.
"Nelson and Vold are contractually precluded from using or revealing any confidential information or trade secrets...
