Wells Fargo Reaches Deal To Buy Cargill's LaCrosse

Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 4:56 PM EDT) -- Wells Fargo & Co. on Tuesday reached a deal to acquire hedge fund administrator LaCrosse Global Fund Services from Cargill Inc. in a bid to expand its administration offerings and increase its expertise in the alternative investment sector.

The deal, which is subject to regulatory approval in several jurisdictions, would be sponsored by the Structured Product Services division of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services, which provides trustee and agency services to institutional and corporate clients, according to the companies.
