Law360, New York (September 07, 2011, 1:36 PM ET) -- A Kentucky federal judge narrowed the field of expert opinions Tuesday in a consolidated action over injuries sustained from alleged design defects of Yamaha Motor Corp.'s Rhino 660 off-road vehicle, excluding testimony from witnesses on both sides.
U.S. District Judge Jennifer Coffman addressed challenges to the qualifications of three of Yamaha's experts and four of the plaintiffs', ruling that portions of several experts' testimony must be partially restricted.
