Time Warner, Installers Turn Off Overtime Action

Law360, New York (September 7, 2011, 7:24 PM EDT) -- Time Warner Cable Inc. and a group of former contracted cable installers on Wednesday ended a putative collective action in Ohio alleging overtime violations by the company.

U.S. District Judge Algenon L. Marbley signed an order approving the terms of a confidential settlement between the parties Wednesday, a day after they filled a motion asking the judge to review the settlement in private to keep it under wraps.
