9th Circ. Nixes $6M DuPont Herbicide Verdict Against US

Law360, New York (September 08, 2011, 5:59 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday wiped out a $6 million verdict against the federal government in litigation brought by Idaho farmers over a DuPont Co. herbicide the U.S. used to rehabilitate burned-out public lands, but upheld an $10.7 million verdict against DuPont.
