2nd Circ. Remands Ex-Morgan Stanley Salesman's Bias Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (September 09, 2011, 7:37 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit on Friday asked a lower court to reconsider whether a former Morgan Stanley & Co. salesman — who claims he was terminated because he is Hispanic — can bring claims under New York City's anti-discrimination laws.

A three-judge panel vacated the New York federal court's July ruling to toss Ruben Vargas' suit with respect to his New York City Human Rights Law claims but affirmed its decision to toss his remaining state and federal race discrimination claims.
