Class Cert. Order Withdrawn In Guards' ERISA Case

Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 5:18 PM ET) -- A federal judge in Nevada withdrew an order Monday that had certified a class of retired Wackenhut Services Inc. security guards on Thursday in a case accusing Benefits Administration Corp. of violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act by failing to send out required notices or provide summary plan descriptions.

U.S. District Judge Roger Hunt withdrew his previous order, which had granted the plaintiffs' bid for class certification and been entered Thursday.
