Greenberg, Leviton End $303M IP Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 7:01 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday stayed electrical wiring device maker Leviton Manufacturing Co. Inc.'s $303 million patent malpractice suit against Greenberg Traurig LLP after both parties said they had reached a settlement agreement.

Both sides said in a joint letter to U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels on Thursday that they would be ready to file a stipulation to dismiss the case shortly after Sept. 22. Further details on the settlement were not immediately available.
