Plaintiffs Bid To Unseal Royal Ahold Documents

Law360, New York (June 18, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The lead plaintiffs in a multidistrict securities class action against Royal Ahold N.V. are seeking to unseal the second amended complaint, despite objections from the Dutch food conglomerate and co-defendant Deloitte & Touche LLP.

The plaintiffs, the Public Employees’ Retirement Association of Colorado and Generic Trading of Philadelphia LLC, said in court documents filed June 15 that Ahold and Deloitte have “confused and conflated” the legal standards that apply to sealing the proposed second consolidated amended complaint.
