Google Settles Suit Over 'Speedbook' Mark

Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 7:11 PM ET) -- Google Inc. and CollegeNET Inc. on Tuesday settled a suit in Oregon alleging the technology giant's use of the word “Speedbook” infringed a trademark and constituted unfair competition.

The court was advised that the two parties had resolved their dispute, according to a scheduling order by U.S. Magistrate Judge Dennis J. Hubel.

The details of the settlement were not immediately available.
