Chrysler, Behr Can't Dodge Contamination Suit: Judge

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 3:29 PM ET) -- An Ohio federal judge on Tuesday upheld a magistrate judge's refusal to stay a proposed class action blaming Chrysler LLC and Behr Dayton Thermal Products LLC for environmental contamination while the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency investigates the site.

Chrysler's bankruptcy had automatically stayed the suit anyway, despite the magistrate judge's April 2009 decision to continue the litigation.
