Apple, Amazon Sued Over Wireless Device Patent

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 2:10 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. were among the major corporations sued Tuesday in Texas over alleged infringement of two patents for wireless device technology.

Plaintiff Semiconductor Ideas to the Market BV claims that Apple's iPhone and Amazon's Kindle e-reader, among other products, infringe its patents, one covering a receiver with a tuning circuit and one covering a communications device with a transmitter and a receiver.
