DHS Finanical IT Security Still Sorely Lacking: Report

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 7:06 PM EDT) -- The systems that manage financial information within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security have security weaknesses that could cause major errors in the agency's financial statements, according to a report commissioned by the department's inspector general and released Monday.

The report details several deficiencies that add up to what the report's authors called a “material weakness.”
