Law360, New York (September 15, 2011, 6:39 PM ET) -- House Democrats asked the U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday to settle its lawsuit over the proposed $39 billion merger of AT&T Inc. and Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile USA Inc.
“We recognize that the Department of Justice has intervened in the merger to ensure competitive markets and protect consumers,” they said in a letter to President Barack Obama.
