Wis. Concealed Carry Law: What Banks Should Know

Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 12:36 PM ET) -- With Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s recent signature on Act 35, Wisconsin became the 49th state to have a “concealed carry” law. Most provisions of the new law will go into effect on Nov. 1, 2011. This delay provides time for Wisconsin community banks to determine how they will respond to the new law in connection with customers and others who enter onto bank premises, and in connection with employees in the bank’s workplace.
