DirecTV, Dish, Others Sued Over Video-On-Demand Patent

Law360, New York (September 19, 2011, 2:19 PM ET) -- DirecTV Inc., Dish Network LLC, Comcast Corp. and others were sued Thursday in Delaware for allegedly infringing a patent for video-on-demand technology. 

Tyler, Texas-based InterAD Technologies LLC seeks a judgment that the 18 defendants — which also include Verizon Inc., Time Warner Cable Inc. and Cox Communications Inc. — are infringing its patent, according to the complaint.
