Law360, New York (September 19, 2011, 5:23 PM ET) -- An Arkansas federal judge ruled Monday that relators in a False Claims Act suit accusing Cisco Systems Inc. and another company of withholding information during government contract negotiations were entitled to an $8 million share of a $48 million settlement.
U.S. District Judge Billy Roy Wilson said Norman Rille and Neal Roberts should receive 17 percent of Cisco’s $44.2 million settlement and 15 percent of the U.S. government’s $3.8 million settlement with Weston Group North America, Cisco’s distributor.
