Law360, New York (June 19, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The lead plaintiffs in a multidistrict securities class action against Royal Ahold N.V. suffered a blow on Monday, when a judge denying their motion to amend their claims against the Dutch food conglomerate and co-defendant Deloitte & Touche LLP.
U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Blake issued an order on June 18 denying a bid by the Public Employees’ Retirement Association of Colorado and Generic Trading of Philadelphia LLC to file a second consolidated amended complaint.
