Express Scripts, Medco Say Deal Will Boost Competition

Law360, San Diego (September 20, 2011, 8:40 PM EDT) -- The CEOs of Express Scripts Inc. and Medco Health Solutions Inc. on Tuesday told lawmakers that the pharmacy benefit managers’ proposed $29.1 billion merger would help rather than hurt competition, driving down drug costs and assisting the government in rooting out fraud.
