Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 9:58 PM ET) -- UPS Inc. and Brown Shoe Co. Inc. on Tuesday became the final two defendants to settle with intellectual property licensing company Webvention LLC in its wide-ranging lawsuit over a patent for online data organization.
Though the terms of the settlement were not released, both companies filed separate joint motions with Webvention asking a Texas federal court to dismiss all charges against them and all counterclaims asserted by UPS and Brown Shoe in light of an agreement between the parties.
