Intel Agencies Credited With Model Contractor Use

Law360, New York (September 21, 2011, 7:51 PM EDT) -- The U.S. intelligence community has been “ahead of the curve” on finding the right balance between the use of contractors and federal employees, a top procurement official told a Senate panel Tuesday.

“In many ways, I think the intelligence community has been a role model in terms of its sensitivity to the need to address overreliance on contractors,” said Daniel I. Gordon, administrator for federal procurement policy with the Office of Management and Budget.
