Travelers Can't Dodge Ex-Reebok CEO's $25M Theft Suit

Law360, Washington (September 21, 2011, 3:46 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Wednesday denied Travelers Casualty and Surety Insurance Co. of America's bid to dismiss a lawsuit alleging it is liable for $25 million embezzled by the indicted ex-accountant of Reebok International Ltd.'s former CEO.

U.S. District Judge Daniel T.K. Hurley did, however, order ex-Reebok CEO Paul Fireman and his company PFP Associates LLC to refile a new complaint that did not name Willowbend Development LLC as a plaintiff, since it no longer exists following a merger.
