Parker-Hannifin, Champion Settle Oil Filter Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 23, 2011, 9:42 PM EDT) -- Industrial equipment maker Parker-Hannifin Corp. on Friday settled its suit alleging Champion Laboratories Inc. infringed three of its patents covering oil filters for diesel engines.

U.S. District Judge Christopher A. Boyko granted the companies' joint motion to dismiss the case with prejudice after they notified the Ohio federal judge that they had reached a deal Thursday.
