Law360, Los Angeles (September 26, 2011, 8:27 PM ET) -- An Illinois federal judge on Monday refused to throw out Facebook Inc.'s trademark suit against Teachbook.com LLC, saying it would be reasonable for a teacher to believe the social networking site for teachers might be operated by Facebook.
In denying Teachbook's motion to dismiss, U.S. District Judge Marvin E. Aspen said Teachbook could take a bite out of Facebook's potential users by offering specific services to teachers and other school administrators.
