Law360, New York (June 20, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Regions Financial Corp. has accused a former senior vice president of breaching confidentiality and divulging trade secrets, including the personal financial and health information of the bank's clients, to a competitor—his new employer.
The bank filed suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee charging William H. Berrell, a Regions employee from 2000 to May 2007, with violating his code of loyalty as well as state and federal law, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and asking for damages....
