Judge May Drop CBS From 'Price Is Right' Pregnancy Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (September 27, 2011, 3:40 PM EDT) -- A California state judge on Tuesday indicated that CBS Corp. couldn't be held liable in a former “Price Is Right” model's pregnancy discrimination lawsuit because the television network didn't make staffing decisions for the popular daytime game show.

Judge Kevin Brazile tentatively ruled that CBS should be removed from Brandi Cochran's lawsuit, which alleges she was cut out of the show after telling its producers she was pregnant, because the network didn't have the authority to fire the show's models.
