GE Leads $100M Investment In China Clean Energy Contest

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 3:34 PM EDT) -- General Electric Co. announced Wednesday it was teaming up with private equity firms including Sequoia Capital and Chinese investment company Citic Group to provide $100 million for a clean energy competition in China.

GE has joined seven private equity partners in launching a clean energy contest in China to foster innovations in natural gas, bio gas, shale gas and coal-bed methane energy.
