8 Firms To Pay Heller $2.3M Over Atty Transfers

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 5:56 PM ET) -- Eight law firms agreed Tuesday to pay Heller Ehrman LLP $2.3 million to settle allegations that they benefited from improper business transfers when they snapped up attorneys from the defunct firm, which is currently in the process of liquidation in California bankruptcy court.
