Edward Jones Dropped From Insurance Co.'s MBS Suit

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 6:21 PM ET) -- Edward D. Jones & Co. LP was dismissed Tuesday from Union Central Life Insurance Co.'s lawsuit in New York accusing a slew of financial services companies of making false and misleading statements about loans included in devalued mortgage-backed securities.

U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels signed off on the parties' agreement to dismiss Edward Jones from the case with prejudice. Additional information on the dismissal wasn't immediately available Wednesday.
