Taylor Wessing Reps Imperial In $234M Lehnkering Buy

Law360, New York (September 30, 2011, 6:41 PM EDT) -- South African transport group Imperial Holdings Ltd. said Friday it had struck a deal to buy German logistics company Lehnkering Holding GmbH for €173 million ($234 million).

Imperial, which will also assume €97 million in debt as part of the acquisition, told shareholders that Lehnkering would strengthen its already lucrative presence in Germany's powerful manufacturing and export industries.
