Honda, Michelin May Face Class Action Over Tires

Law360, New York (June 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Motorists have filed a putative class action against car maker American Honda Motor Co. and tire company Michelin North America over what they call an “inherently defective” wheel system.

The suit, filed Wednesday in a Kentucky federal court, claims the Michelin PAX Tire and Wheel Assembly System, touted as a top-of-the-line luxury system which would do away with the need for spare tires, is a dud.
