'English Patient' Producer Seeks $20M In Disney Profits

Law360, Los Angeles (October 3, 2011, 8:25 PM EDT) -- The production company behind the Oscar-winning 1996 film "The English Patient" sued The Walt Disney Co. and Miramax Film Corp. for breach of contract Thursday, alleging the companies used accounting tricks to cheat it out of at least $20 million in profits from the film.
