ArrivalStar Continues Tracking IP Blitz With 4 New Suits

Law360, New York (October 5, 2011, 5:47 PM EDT) -- Melvino Technologies Ltd. and its licensee ArrivalStar SA continued to vigorously defend their vehicle tracking technology this week, accusing four companies in Florida federal court of infringing several oft-asserted patents.

The Caribbean-based pair claimed in three complaints filed Tuesday that warehousing and distribution company Phoenix Industries LLC and transportation firms FreightCo Logistics and Arnold Transportation Services Inc. have infringed seven patents with products and services that allow customers to stay updated on the status of a shipment.
