SynQor Wants More Damages After $95M Patent Win

Law360, New York (October 7, 2011, 5:01 PM EDT) -- Power converter maker SynQor Inc. on Thursday sued several companies from which it won a $95 million jury award last year for their alleged infringement of its power converter patents, claiming they continued to induce infringement following a January injunction.

On Sept. 29, the Texas federal court overseeing the underlying suit, in which SynQor successfully asserted several power converter patents, severed SynQor's continuing causes of action for post-injunction damages, leading to the filing of Thursday's complaint.
