Law Firms Scramble To Find Real Estate Talent

Law360, San Diego (October 31, 2011, 3:45 PM ET) -- As business starts to pick up, law firms are having a difficult time hiring real estate associates with junior and mid-level experience, which could lead to problems with staffing projects and winning new work, experts say.

The real estate industry was hit especially hard during the downturn and many lawyers focusing on that sector were among the nearly 10,000 associates laid off in the U.S. between 2007 and 2010, according to experts.
