Law360, New York (October 11, 2011, 3:17 PM ET) -- Network security and data protection company SonicWALL Inc. filed a suit Friday asking a Delaware federal judge to declare more than a dozen wireless network technology patents previously asserted by Innovatio IP Ventures LLC invalid.
San Jose, Calif.-based SonicWALL's declaratory judgment suit took aim at 17 patents that Innovatio asserted in a March 8 lawsuit in Illinois against ABP Corp., Panera Bread Co., CBC Restaurant Corp., Cosi Inc. and others.
