Box.net Snags $81M In VC Funding To Expand Cloud

Law360, New York (October 11, 2011, 6:45 PM EDT) -- Cloud computing service provider Box.net said Tuesday that it had raised $81 million from investors including venture capital firms SAP Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners to expand internationally and add to its infrastructure in the U.S.

The investment brings the company's total raised capital to $162 million, and includes funding from cloud networking services provider Salesforce.com Inc., venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates Inc., and prior venture capital investors Andreessen Horowitz and Draper Fisher Jurvetson Growth Fund, Box said in a statement.
