Democrats' Pay Bias Act To Counter High Court Ruling

Law360, New York (June 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A new bill introduced by House Democrats to reverse a U.S. Supreme Court decision limiting pay discrimination claims is scheduled to be reviewed by a congressional committee this week.

Rep. George Miller introduced a bill Friday which would allow workers to reclaim lost pay if a claim is filed within 180 days of the issuance of a discriminatory paycheck, no matter when the initial violation took place.
