Papa John's Drivers Win Reversal Of Class Notification Bar

Law360, New York (October 13, 2011, 1:05 PM EDT) -- A Missouri federal judge reversed course Tuesday and agreed to allow the use of prepaid envelopes to contact potential class members in a wage suit brought by a group of Papa John’s pizza delivery drivers.

U.S. District Judge Audrey G. Fleissig granted in part and denied in part a motion for reconsideration of a previous ruling that barred the inclusion of prepaid envelopes in notification letters because it bordered on improper solicitation, according to the memorandum and order.
