State Dept. Biased In Favor Of Pipeline: House Dems

Law360, New York (October 14, 2011, 2:00 PM EDT) -- About two dozen House Democrats said Friday they planned to urge Secretary of State Hillary Clinton not to approve TransCanada Corp.'s 1,700-mile oil sands pipeline, questioning whether a government contractor was objective in its environmental assessment.

The lawmakers signing the letter addressed to Clinton, led by Rep.
