Law360, New York (October 14, 2011, 6:36 PM ET) -- Two former Terra Telecommunications Corp. executives who were convicted in August for their alleged roles in a scheme to bribe Haitian government officials saw their bids for acquittal or a new trial denied by a Florida federal judge on Friday.
U.S. District Judge Jose E. Martinez rejected ex-Terra Executive Vice President Carlos Rodriguez's motions for judgment of acquittal or a new trial, which were adopted by ex-Terra CEO Joel Esquenazi, in an order entered on Friday.
