NY High Court Revives Bus Passengers' Seat Belt Claims

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 7:45 PM EDT) -- New York's highest court on Tuesday revived injured passengers' claims against a bus company and others over a lack of seat belts, ruling federal regulations requiring seat belts only for bus drivers did not preempt state common law claims in a suit stemming from a 1994 crash.
