DDR Plans $50M Renovation Of Puerto Rico Shopping Centers

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 5:22 PM EDT) -- DDR Corp., the Ohio-based owner of more than 500 discount shopping centers, said Monday it will spend $50 million to redevelop four shopping centers in Puerto Rico amid strong demand by retailers for upgraded space.

The shopping centers to be redeveloped are Plaza del Sol and Rexville Plaza in Bayamon, Plaza del Norte in Hatillo and Plaza Escorial in Carolina, DDR said.
