Law360, San Diego (October 18, 2011, 7:38 PM ET) -- Accenture said Tuesday that it had resolved infringement litigation with rival Guidewire Software Inc. over patents covering insurance claims processing software.
The parties, which have been involved in disputes in at least Delaware and California courts, have consented to cross-license patents, and Guidewire has agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to Accenture, with a portion of that amount based on the final outcome of Accenture’s pending appeal before the Federal Circuit, according to the deal.
