Commerce Sticks With 25-Year-Old Tariffs On Turkish Pipe

Law360, New York (October 19, 2011, 5:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Wednesday said it would continue to uphold tariffs against Turkish carbon steel pipe makers, finding that revocation of the countervailing duties would likely lead Turkey to resume subsidizing the industry.

Commerce upheld the countervailing duty determination for welded carbon steel pipe and tube from Turkey after conducting an expedited sunset review of the 25-year-old order.
