Fed. Circ. Sides With Streck In Hematology Patent Fight

Law360, New York (October 20, 2011, 4:11 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit on Thursday upheld a district court’s decision in a patent fight finding inventors for Streck Inc. came up with technology covering hematology control products before scientists for rival Research and Diagnostic Systems Inc. discovered the invention.

The Federal Circuit affirmed the judgment of a Nebraska federal court whose ruling reversed a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office decision to invalidate three of Streck’s patents.
