EU, Russia Reach Final Deal On WTO Membership Terms

Law360, New York (October 21, 2011, 5:36 PM ET) -- The European Union and Russia have resolved the last hurdles to the bloc's support for Russia's World Trade Organization membership, leaving the country's disputes with neighboring Georgia as one of the few remaining barriers, EU trade officials announced Friday.

The two governments reached agreements on Russia's car production investment scheme, rules for exporting food products to Russia and Siberian overflight charges, according to the European Commission.
