Law360, New York (October 21, 2011, 5:09 PM ET) -- China's Ministry of Commerce on Friday urged the U.S. to refrain from imposing anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Chinese-made solar panels, which SolarWorld Industries America Inc. and other domestic producers are pushing for.
The Coalition for American Solar Manufacturing, which includes SolarWorld and six other solar technology companies, on Wednesday asked the U.S. Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission to formally find that China was dumping and illegally subsidizing its solar products.
