Microtherm Cuts Deal In Water Heater Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (October 24, 2011, 1:17 PM ET) -- Microtherm Inc. on Friday resolved its Arizona lawsuit accusing rivals Rheem Manufacturing Co. and Marathon Water Heaters of launching a smear campaign to pressure suppliers to drop the company after it introduced its tankless water heater.

U.S. District Judge Roslyn O. Silver granted the parties joint stipulation to dismiss the suit after they informed the court they had reached a settlement. The stipulation did not disclose the terms of the settlement.
